Do I need to download any software?
No, I-CAN!™ Legal is an Internet-based application so there is no software to download. If you do not already have Adobe Reader you will need to download it to print your forms. It is free: download it at

Using I-CAN!™ generally takes 30 minutes. If you have a more complicated case it may take more time.

Do I have to finish all the questions at one time?
No, you can begin using I-CAN!™ and if you don't have the time to finish, or you don't have all the information you need, you can exit and return later and continue entering your information. The information is saved for you and you do not need to enter it again. Log in again with your password to continue your forms.

What if I think my forms aren't right?
You can go back and forth through the screens and verify your answers. You can make changes and reprint your forms. Once you have them the way you want then you can file them with the court.
